Agriturismo al Poggetto is able to offer to families with children a massive outdoor area with plenty of space to play and horse ride with farm animals in site while in absolute safety.

At the agriturismo children are able to enjoy trekking following a safe traced trail between old olives trees and botanical garden with various fruit trees. Because not all of the trails are in perfect shape we thought it wise to create a downloadable app that recommends the best trials to follows (we put at your disposal a stroller for trekking and/or a baby carrier together with hats and trekking poles).

The kids are able to make use of our playground equipped with swings and slides and be part of organized activities.

Al Poggetto has family rooms equipped with a double sized bed and one or two single beds and/or a baby crib.

We are proud to provide the costumers with different baby facilities such as changing board, the meal/milk warmer and a special nappy disposal bag.

Our positionWe are located in the countryside on a hill about 650M above sea level, with rich surrounding nature that allows you to totally relax while breathing pure air. We are 2 km away from Santa Cristina, a small village with many facilities where you can use the fidelity card TREK&KID that offers you various specials on your shopping. In the small village you will also find an emergency medical centre as well as a pharmacy open 24/7 on request.

At only 6km away there is you find the Piana degli albanesi lake which has an amazing green area part of WWF where your kids will certainly enjoy various activities including canoeing and kayaking.

At only 30 min. drive near Monreale, you find one of the biggest adventure parks of Sicily and be sure not to miss the opportunity to visit Bosco Ficuzza, a wood forest to explore while on a scenic train ride, we are confident it will be an amazing day for adults and kids!

In addition kid’s meal time can be brought forward on request for the smallest ones whereas older kids can comfortably have their meal around noon.

Last but not least we can offer a baby sitter service and paediatrician visit upon request.

Should you plan to stay with us for an entire week, we will be more than glad to invite your kids to participate to a guided excursion at the lake followed by selected activities on our entertainment area.
